For the Ribeye Steak:
2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 large onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, smashed
Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (optional for extra flavor)
For the Crispy Fries:
4 large potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold), cut into fries
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: garlic powder or smoked paprika for seasoning
