Recipe: Chicken Crescent Roll Ups
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- Optional: additional shredded cheese for topping
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
- Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
- Roll up the crescent rolls, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as you go, to enclose the chicken mixture completely.
- Place the rolled up crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
- Optional: sprinkle additional shredded cheese on top of the roll ups for extra cheesiness.
- Bake the Chicken Crescent Roll Ups in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the roll ups from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
