Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Mash

1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:

• In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender (15-20 minutes).
• Drain, return to the pot, and mash with heavy cream, butter, and sour cream (if using). Season with salt and pepper. Keep warm.

2. Cook the Steak Bites:

• Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
• In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Cook steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

3. Make the Garlic Butter:

• In the same skillet, lower heat and add remaining butter. Sauté garlic for about 1 minute.
• Return steak bites to skillet and toss in garlic butter, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.

4. Serve:

• Spoon mashed potatoes onto plates, top with steak bites, and drizzle with remaining garlic butter. Garnish with parsley and chives.
