The most common problem, however, can depend on the shock absorbers. In fact, if not well lubricated, these can prevent the drum from functioning correctly, causing the washing machine to move during the spin cycle. Let’s see together how to solve it.
How to fix the washing machine
Lubrication of the shock absorbers in the washing machine is quite simple with a little manual skill. The first thing to do to proceed is to remove the filter .
You will need to place a baking tray or rags under the washing machine as there will be water leakage. Once the filter has been removed, take the opportunity to clean it and dry everything well. At this point you need to turn the washing machine upside down so you can see the base . You will easily recognize the two arms which are the shock absorbers.
Place the washing machine
Use a wrench or the appropriate tool based on the shock absorber anchors to remove them from the housings and take them out of the washing machine.
Once this is done, separate the two parts of the shock absorbers and obtain some lubricant for mechanical parts to distribute on both parts . Join the two pieces together again and remove the excess lubricant. Now you can reassemble the shock absorbers and you will immediately notice that with the next spin cycles the washing machine will no longer move and the vibrations will be reduced to a minimum.
