Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Unroll the crescent roll  dough onto a clean surface and press the seams together to form a single sheet.
Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Layer the provolone  cheese, salami, and ham over the marinara sauce.
Sprinkle the sliced pepperoncini peppers and chopped basil over the meats and cheese.
Starting from one of the long sides, carefully roll the dough into a log, keeping the filling inside.
Slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the pinwheels.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add some crushed red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce. You can also swap out the meats for turkey or roast beef if you prefer. If you’re vegetarian, try using roasted vegetables like bell peppers and zucchini instead of the meats. For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free dough. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses, such as mozzarella or fontina, to change up the flavor profile.
