1 and 1/2 cups of light-colored sugar
1.5 quarts of boiling water
How to Follow
Set the oven temperature to 350°F, or 175°C. Just enough time in the oven will melt the butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. Combine the flour, salt, baking powder, granulated sugar, and a medium bowl; whisk to combine. To get a smooth batter, slowly add the milk and vanilla essence while mixing.
Third, pour the batter into the baking dish on top of the melted butter. Keep still.
4. In a compact dish, mix the light brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Add this mixture to the batter in a uniform manner. Keep still.
Fifth, without swirling, slowly pour the boiling water over the whole mixture. While baking, the water will help the cobbler turn into a sauce that tastes like caramel.
6. After the oven is hot, bake the cobbler for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is browned and the filling is set.
7. After setting aside for 15 minutes, the cobbler is ready to be served. The sauce might thicken a little as a result of this. Warm it up before serving.
