Gather the following ingredients to create this delectable dessert:
- 2 cups (200g) of crushed pretzels
- 3/4 cup (170g) of unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup (50g) of granulated sugar
- 1 can (20 ounces) of crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 package (3.4 ounces) of instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup (240ml) of cold milk
- 1 container (8 ounces) of whipped topping, thawed
- Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preparing the Pretzel Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool completely.
